Godwit Days Spring Migration Bird Festival is a leader among California's nature and wildlife events within California, recognized nationally within the birding community. Our 11th annual event will be held April 21 - 23, 2006 and support of businesses like yours is key to promoting the North Coast as an eco-tourist destination.

Our festival in April attracts hundreds of people to Arcata from out of state and internationally to explore our numerous and diverse birding sites. In 2003, we greatly expanded our outreach to local residents and schools. We have added pre and post festival activities to allow for, and accomplish, a full week's stay.
